How We Work

People do not grow through programs alone. They grow through connected experiences.

The Human Experience Ecosystem connects reflection, culture, relationships, technology, leadership, workforce development, and community contribution.

The Human Experience Ecosystem

A participant may enter through any doorway. Every doorway can lead to a deeper journey.

The Human Experience Ecosystem is not another program.

It is the framework connecting all 846s.org program areas, learning environments, tools, relationships, and pathways.

It helps participants move from conversation to reflection, learning, practice, demonstration, contribution, and leadership.

AIEI is not confined to one workshop. It influences how we listen, reflect, plan, work together, make decisions, and understand our responsibility to others.

ZERA Cards

Begin with an African proverb, connect it to one of the five Emotional Intelligence pillars, reflect on lived experience, and identify one practical action.

HeadCheck

Continue reflection through a guided digital experience that helps participants explore what they are feeling, what their experience may be teaching them, and what thoughtful next step they might take.

HeadCheck is a guided reflection experience and does not provide a clinical diagnosis or emergency support.

HeadCheck and ZERA Cards are developed by Epimap247 and used within the 846s.org Human Experience Ecosystem to support reflection, conversation, and human development.

The Journey

  1. Listen

We begin with lived experience, curiosity, and conversation.

  2. Reflect

Participants develop self awareness and examine emotions, experiences, choices, relationships, and possibilities.

  3. Learn

Participants gain cultural, emotional, technical, professional, and interpersonal knowledge.

  4. Practice

Learning is applied through scenarios, teamwork, mission planning, mentoring, flight activities, conversations, and community projects.

  5. Demonstrate

Participants make capability visible through portfolios, presentations, certifications, technical demonstrations, and service.

  6. Contribute

Participants use their learning to mentor peers, support families, serve organizations, strengthen businesses, and improve community life.

  7. Lead

Contributors become mentors, entrepreneurs, workforce professionals, and community leaders.

From Participant to Contributor

Transformation does not end when someone completes a workshop, passes an examination, or learns to fly a drone. The deeper questions are:

  • Can the participant demonstrate what they learned?
  • Can they mentor someone else?
  • Have they created something that shows their ability?
  • Can their knowledge serve a family, organization, business, or neighborhood?
  • Can their success create an opportunity for another person?

This is how individual development becomes community development.

Community Accountability

Accountability begins with relationships. We listen to young people, parents, caregivers, business owners, educators, partners, and neighborhood leaders through mentoring, community conversations, public activities, reflection, and continuing engagement. Feedback is not collected only for reports. It helps shape programs, partnerships, priorities, and future learning experiences.
